Happy birthday to the sweet girl we did not know we needed! Rosie, you came out of nowhere and have solidified yourself as a more than necessary addition to our family. You are everyone's favorite baby girl. Your the one we all look for when we get home, your welcomes are the best with all the goose honking and squinty-faced, nose-wrinkled smiles you freely give to each of us.

This was one quick year, we are having a hard time realizing you have been with us for so long. The four of us have enjoyed every bit of getting to know you and watching you discover this family and the world you live in. You have the best facial expressions and sweetheart demeanor, though not to be confused with 'gentility' because, girlfriend, you are fiercer than you need to be... #justasksaul

We all argue over who gets to get you up from your naps because we all want to be the one to experience your anticipation and satisfaction and thrill for the person who walks through the bedroom door. We love your extended hand of greeting when you see us, as if hailing your subjects, which to be honest, we probably are...

Even putting you to bed is the best as you burrow your face into our necks for "kisses" and your laughing at anyone you find to be already sleeping. In fact, one of your first purposeful words has been "nigh-night!" You have truly been a dream baby in more ways than one!

Although, as of late you have started showing us just how truly classic Kunz-kid you intend to be. With all of your opinions, dramatics, impeccable timing... commence crawling, pulling up, climbing, and into EVERYTHING upon the exact arrival of your baby brother! #notyourbestmoverose

You love people, your favorite hobby is FaceTime, you are a ham for the camera, you love being read to, you shimmy to music and anything that brings you joy, you are both a copy of your big sister and uniquely your very own person.

Mary Alice Age 10

She is a whole decade old. We have been parents for 10 years. We feel old and are for some reason still procreating... #jesuslostthewheel. Though as far as Mary Alice is concerned we can continue having all the babies because babies are the best! Over the last year she has become quite the little mama and a huge help with the babies! She may only be 10, but it is apparent that she is going to be an exceptional mama!

Watching Mary Alice live life continues to be one of my most favorite things. She could not love her life, her family, her friends, her school, her everything more then she already does... She could burst with all the love she has to give, but thankfully she refuses to hold it in, she spreads it all over her world! We are lucky to live in her world. #inbitedtothehonket
