Though, Buddy, your mouth may be the thing that breaks you before any of your adventures. Speaking from experience you should get a handle on that... and quickly! Smart brains are valued over smart mouths. I apologize now if there is any genetic component to this character trait. :)
Now with all that talk about adventures and sass-holes you also remain the funniest and most fun. You are still the sweetest with your babies and love them through all the sewer pipes. Though, you have slowed-your-roll on asking for more... not completely, but it is markedly less often that you ask for another baby. #samehere
This year has been different to say the least. We have been quarantined together since March and you are missing your friends wickedly. We have our fingers crossed that you will actually be able to start school in-person next week.
Also this is the first birthday you have spent away from us and it seems so strange. As a family we have opted for experiences over gifts and you are 100% on board but now so many things are closed or require masks and are just "not the same." So this year Gramma and Grandpa came to the rescue and you are off camping it up with them. I am excited to hear all about it. For, Silas, you are our "Man of the Woods."
May this tenth year bring you and us more laughs, more adventures, and (I can't believe I'm saying this...) more togetherness. We love you so much!
| While waiting for instructions, you kept picking up and sticks and saying things like, "Mom, how would you make this into a gun?" or turning them into drumsticks... or whatever would make the most noise... |
Happy Birthday, Sy B.
